HELP CENTER

Frequently asked questions.

What Dispatched publishes, where its data comes from, and how to interpret automated records.

What is Dispatched?

An independent service that presents publicly available public-safety incident, dispatch, and community-resource data with links to its sources.

Who operates it?

Dispatched is operated by Psycho Solutions LLC.

Is Dispatched affiliated with law enforcement or government?

No. Dispatched is not an official emergency service, government website, or law-enforcement agency.

Where does the data come from?

Each location page links to its configured public agency or government data providers. Coverage differs by location and service.

How often does information update?

Each provider has its own polling schedule. See the public status page for expected cadence and its last successful poll and ingestion.

Why might a source be unavailable?

An agency service can be down, delayed, changed, or unreachable. We pause current-activity displays when a fresh successful update cannot be verified.

Why are some services missing for my city?

Only verified, configured providers are listed. A location may have police data without fire/EMS data, or the reverse.

Does an arrest mean someone was convicted?

No. An arrest or booking record is not a conviction. Court outcomes are separate records.

How can I ask for a correction?

Use the Corrections and Data Removal page to review what information to include. A contact destination must be configured before we can receive submissions by email.

How can I request a city?

Use the Contact page when a contact destination is available, or suggest an official public source through the corrections page.

Are scanner feeds available?

No authorized scanner feeds are currently enabled. We will only display feeds whose source terms or direct permission allow the intended use.
